Family Background
Hello and thank you for taking time from your busy schedule to learn about our family business. After retiring from our office jobs in 2021, we wanted to pursue a business within the Brainerd Lakes area as close as possible to our home on the Cullen Chain of Lakes. So, we decided to venture into a business that we are very enthusiastic about. The firewood business we are starting will cater specifically to campfire enthusiasts by producing smaller pieces of split firewood containing 20% or less moisture content.
We will only process select hardwood species such as Oak, Hard Maple and Birch, along with hardwood slabs for kindling and everyday burning. When available, we will add some pine to our bundles which is a very good addition to the campfire.
We will primarily market 1 CU FT firewood bundles and bags but also offer 1/3, 2/3, and 1 cord bulk firewood encased in a designed firewood bag(s) that can be moved using a tractor or skid loader with pallet forks.

The trees used to process the firewood come from Crow Wing County.
My family and I are excited about this new adventure and hope the products we supply will lead to many family memories as they gather around the campfires of this great northern community!!
